Born in Camden, South Carolina, her ancestors have been in the state for many generations. Cheri is the host of the genealogy chat show GenFriends. Cheri Hudson Passey is a Professional Genealogist, Instructor, Writer, and Speaker and the owner of Carolina Girl Genealogy, LLC. She is currently the Vice President of Society and Organizations for the National Genealogical Society.
